In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
I began capturing images on film at the age of 22 when I discovered it through my mentor. The limited amount of images on a roll of film forced me to put my camera phone down and really observe the beauty in the world, and the people around us. Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the images and the world around them.

After photographing hundreds of portrait sessions over the past decade, I’ve found that I'm not the perfect fit for every family. That’s why this process begins with a conversation. I want to hear everything—how you met, funny first date stories, and how y’all got engaged.
We’ll get to know one another, talk about the details of your day, answer any questions you might have about working with me and figure out if we’re the best fit for each other.
LET's CONNECT
Once your date is reserved, we'll connect to start chatting about possible locations for your session. I generally recommend choosing one location and if it's a place you haven't been before, it might be helpful to visit during the time our session will take place.
That way you have an idea of the light, crowds, closing time, etc! If you're not sure about where you would like to take your photos but you have a general idea of the look you would like, just let me know because I would be happy to recommend a few locations based on your aesthetic!

On the day of your session, we'll connect to make sure the weather still looks like it's going to cooporate. We'll exchange numbers and finalize our meeting location. Please plan for your session to take about two hours from start to finish.
The SEssion

All images from our sessions are typically delivered within about two weeks of the shoot date via an online gallery. This gallery will allow you to share your favorites with family, order prints and even download images to share on social media.
Your gallery will remain active for six weeks.

These are special photo sessions designed just for highlighting the elements of motherhood. Available for both expectant mothers and those whose children are already earthside - this is a detailed process to highlight that relationship. These sessions are 30 minutes long and include an online gallery of 20 high resolution images. Client closet, and hair & makeup are available as well.

Areas that I've been photographing for over a decade now, the possibilities are always endless! From the local parks and hiking trails, to local venues like Freedom Ranch and OK Corral. Ask me for example galleries!

There are tons of gorgeous hiking trails in the Sebring/Lake Placid area. One of my favorites is this waterfront preserve complete with looming oaks, cypress boardwalks and a direct view of the marsh.

There are so many beautiful places along the coast to shoot at - especially along the ocean! From St Augustine Beach all the way down to Palm Beach Island, I've shot them all. You can also extend your experience to rent this vintage sailboat for your waterfront photo session!

With the growth of online shops, shopping for your littles is more fun than ever! I recommend choosing color families (neutrals, blues, etc) over perfectly matching outfits. If you're looking for some inspiration or some of our favorite shops for kids, check out the link to our Pinterest boards below!
For the Littles
When picking outfits I recommend keeping in mind the word “complement” rather than “match.” For example, if Dad is wearing a blue and pink pastel plaid shirt, Mom may want to choose a long, soft blue dress. It can also be a great idea to choose “color-families,” such as pastels or jewel tones.

The sooner the better! Our weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to me, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, I'll need a contract as well as a deposit. And if something comes up and you need to change your date, just let me know!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, wI take photos for a living and I even feel like a deer in the headlights when I'm in front of the camera.
You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and I coach you through images, I think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun. And don't worry about your kids. I'm well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones.
We're Awkward and my kids don't sit still.
No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, we'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule.
Often, when we're scheduling our initial portrait session date, if it works for our calendars, we'll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure we don't have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Within a few weeks of your session, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images.
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors. No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.
